Tourism Tasmania has produced international visitor profiles aimed at supporting broader understanding of what motivates international travellers to choose Tasmania as their holiday destination. These profiles delve into the preferences and behaviours of tourists from our key international markets of the USA, UK, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, and Germany.
The profiles offer insights into each market including consumer trends, travel drivers, interests, preferences, and behaviours. Insights have been drawn from a diverse range of sources including Tourism Research Australia's International Visitors Survey, the Tasmanian Visitor Survey, Tourism Australia's Consumer Demand Project, and Future of Demand reports.
