Celebrity Chef Ainsley Harriott visits Tasmania

UK celebrity chef, entertainer and author Ainsley Harriott is visiting Tasmania this week to film his new SBS TV series, My Market Menu. Ainsley is well known for his Ready Steady Cook series and many cookbooks.

Ainsley will be filming at Salamanca Market this Saturday, and will be creating some delicious market dishes featuring fresh Tasmanian produce that he will source from the market.

The show will feature producers from Bruny Island, Huon Valley and Cygnet Bakery as well as filming in Battery Point, North Hobart and at the market.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the state and our premium food and beverages to national and international audiences.

Ainsley’s visit has been supported through Tourism Tasmania’s media hosting program that supports selected journalists and media to experience Tasmania’s tourism products and experiences firsthand.
