The episode was recorded at Spring Bay Mill and speaks to Gina Chick’s personal story, sharing how ‘getting comfortable in the uncomfortable’ can help with building resilience and leading a more fulfilling life.
Gina Chick spent 67 days living alone in remote Tasmania during the winter of 2022. Taking only what she could carry, she wore a hand-sewn possum fur coat for warmth, built a shelter from nearby vegetation, and ate what she could find, including worms, eels and one fortuitous wallaby which saw her through to the finish line as winner of Alone Australia.
The podcast episode is supported by eight-weeks of Tourism Tasmania advertisements on The Imperfects podcast and wider ARN network, and is available on Apple Podcasts, IHeartRadio and Spotify.
