Operations
The operations team manages Tourism Tasmania’s business operations including finance, budget and asset management, WHSW, governance and risk, procurement and contract management and IT and enterprise systems.
The team is responsible for ensuring Tourism Tasmania meets its corporate, statutory and legislative obligations.
People and Culture
The people and culture team is responsible for the employee experience, and the development and implementation Tourism Tasmania’s people strategy.
In addition to strategy and project work, the team oversees the delivery of people services and provides advice across the agency on topics such as onboarding, recruitment, performance, training and development, and diversity and inclusion.
Marketing
The marketing team leads the brand and marketing strategy to promote Tasmania as a holiday destination and attract leisure visitors to Tasmania.
The team plans, develops and implements strategies and integrated brand campaigns to generate demand in interstate, intrastate, and international markets.
The team’s functions include planning and performance, brand, digital and interactive, PR and content, partnerships and famils.
Office of the CEO
The Office of the CEO leads corporate and strategic business planning and engagement with community, industry and government, as well as reputational and crisis management.
The team is responsible for managing the agency’s corporate and executive communications, media and public relations, supporting Tourism Tasmania’s Board and connecting industry with our programs.
Visitor Economy Strategy and Research
The visitor economy and research team manage the T21 partnership and Tasmania’s 2030 Visitor Economy Strategy, research and insights, grant management and destination projects.
The team provides insights on visitation, visitor tracking and data, and works across the visitor economy to help deliver programs that support the long-term vision for Tasmania to be a global leader in responsible and sustainable tourism.
Access and Aviation
The aviation and access team drive the development and implementation of the Tasmanian government’s access strategy.
The team works to maintain access to and from Tasmania ensuring air and sea services are available for visitors and Tasmanians. The team is also responsible for liaison with the cruise and car hire sectors.
