Emma heads up Tourism Tasmania’s marketing unit and has overall responsibility for the promotion of Tasmania as a holiday destination and to attract more visitors to Tasmania. To achieve this, Emma oversees the activities of Tourism Tasmania’s consumer, international and partnerships marketing teams and their programs. Emma's role includes the development, implementation, monitoring and measurement of Tourism Tasmania’s long-term marketing strategy and annual marketing plans. These focus on strategic partnerships, customer-focused content, brand advocacy and brand marketing in interstate and international markets. Emma also oversees the review, selection and management of contractors providing marketing, creative and media services to Tourism Tasmania.
