Tasmania has an enviable reputation as a producer of fine food and expertly crafted beverages, and the number of awards won by our booming agribusiness sector proves our products are amongst the best in the world.

On behalf of the Hodgman Liberal Government, I would like to congratulate Ashgrove Cheese on their latest production success, where they will produce four new Ashgrove branded cheeses with the assistance of supermarket chain ALDI.

Renowned as an award winning producer of milk, cheese, cream and butter, Ashgrove Farm is a must-visit destination for thousands of ‘foodie’ tourists who come to see, taste, and experience the amazing produce our State has to offer.

From next month, the specially branded Ashgrove Cheeses will be found on the shelves of over 500 supermarkets nationwide.

This is a fantastic recognition of Tasmania’s premium food production, and Ashgrove has hired an additional five employees to assist with increased production.

The Havarti Range of cheeses encompasses a range of flavoured delights, from natural smooth and creamy, to infused flavours of Jalapeno, Bacon, or Natural Wood Smoked.
