Emma heads up Tourism Tasmania’s marketing unit and has overall responsibility for the promotion of Tasmania as a holiday destination. To achieve this, Emma oversees the activities of Tourism Tasmania’s consumer, international and partnerships marketing teams and their programs.

Emma's main responsibilities include the development, implementation, monitoring and measurement of Tourism Tasmania’s long-term marketing strategy and annual marketing plans, which focus on the use of strategic partnerships, customer-focused content, brand advocacy and brand marketing in selected interstate and international markets, to generate appeal and attract more visitors to Tasmania.

Emma is also responsible for the review, selection and overall management of contractors who provide marketing, creative and media services to Tourism Tasmania.
